Technique Tips: Muscle Fatigue
The positions and subsequent movements in each Pure Barre class are thoughtfully planned and precisely designed to isolate and target specific muscle groups, working each to the point of fatigue. This means going past what's comfortable to the place where your muscles burn and might even start to shake. While shaking can be a bit scary at first, it's a sign that you're in your working zone - so stay there! If you're not sure whether you've exhausted a specific muscle group yet, listen for cues from the teacher like "sink one inch lower" and "get your heels one inch higher" - and you'll find it!
